This person plays a key role in enabling market success through digital activities, creating segment level strategies that can be enabled through technology, and supporting segment leadership with future business direction as well as project enablement.

The role will deliver the digital strategies and business results across the difference Segment in line with plans. He/she will support markets with digital expertise at leadership and functional team levels to enable achievement of their business goals. Team leadership is an important part of the role, as the person will lead market digital teams, global digital teams, and also play a leadership role within the Global Technology function.

What team will I be part of?

  • Reports into VP of Global Technology – IOMBU / IDL
  • Manages Sr Manager, IOMBU Digital
  • Manages 6x Digital Teams in-country
  • Supports 6x Digital teams in countries with non-globalised teams

What will my key accountabilities be?

  • Deliver agreed business results approved at phase 2, and any necessary iterations to the
  • aforementioned
  • Lead Digital teams and support their needs with expertise, guidance and connection to
  • relevant stakeholders to enable performance progress in all areas relating to Digital
  • Drive a performance mentality across the team and the segment, coaching teams as
  • necessary
  • Drive standardisation of ways of working where possible to support Technology
  • Standardisation objectives
  • Represent market needs within the GMAL product organisation
  • Support / enable Technology project delivery with accountability for Adoption and activation in the IOMBU
  • Support Global Technology team with business requirement definition as appropriate
  • Participate in project work for new initiatives under development/deployment for markets

Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years’ experience essential. Demonstrated ability to drive business growth across a portfolio of digital technology, digital media and performance marketing initiatives required.
  • Experience delivering proven business results for a significantly sized business unit or geography required.
  • Fluent in the internet, digital media or e-commerce, digital marketing trends and technologies for brands, consumer technology and consumer-facing companies.
  • Strong appetite for hands-on working at both strategic and operational levels
  • Conversant with brand building and customer acquisition in digital and social mediums.
  • Strong track record of working within an innovative, leading-edge consumer technology environment.
  • Proven-track record with digitally-enabled customer experiences and journey.

Impressive Day Rate

£600 (Negotiable)
