Role:

Digital Optimisation Specialist involved in creating the best in class online customer experience.  As well as day-to-day CRO/testing work, this role involves a range of web development projects targeting both new and existing customers.

Responsibility:

  • Execute and manage CRO testing roadmap as part of the CRO team
  • Develop hypotheses, create briefs and guide our CRO developers in the creation and launch of A/B, MVT
  • and personalisation tests. Tests range from entire customer journey to smaller tests (colour, words)
  • Quantitative data analysis using Adobe Analytics, Sessioncam and similar
  • Qualitative user research using a range of tools such as Hotjar, Userlytics and others
  • Create reports using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, communicating test results to key business
  • stakeholders including recommendations based on insight gathered for permanent changes to deliver
  • improvements in conversion rates and upsell. Reports are produced weekly, with recommendations that
  • ultimately reach Exec level.
  • Working closely with team members in acquisition, underwriting and risk to agree test plans and
  • communicate changes as tests can lead to increases in call volumes, for example.
  • Working closely with IT to prioritise permanent web changes once tests are completed and decisions made.
  • Day to day agency management.
  • Working with the acquisition marketing team to optimise landing pages

Qualification, Experience & Skills: 

  • Experience working on or running conversion rate optimisation programmes
  • Proven track record of delivering an uplift in conversion and income per sale
  • Direct experience with A/B testing tools such as Optimizely or similar and UX best practices
  • Experience using web analytics platforms such as Adobe Site Catalyst or similar
  • Excellent communication skills and experience with stakeholder management
  • Experience in quantitative and qualitative best practices
  • Understanding of HTML and CSS, basic Javascript/ JQuery knowledge ideal, although not essential
  • Understanding of web development processes (e.g. Agile) and best practices preferable
  • Understanding of or an interest in User Experience and UX Research best practices ideal
  • Experience of using common CMS platforms to update customer-facing websites, such as Drupal or similar preferable
  • Knowledge of the latest tagging/tracking techniques and best practices ideal
  • Any exposure to or interest in behavioural psychology ideal
