OVERVIEW

Overview

My client is after a CRO Analyst, you will work in the Optimisation team and be responsible for delivering A/B and MV tests on our client’s websites and/or mobile apps. Use problem-solving skills to generate hypotheses and exhibit creative skills to devise engaging experiments to test those hypotheses. This individual will also be using various analytics tools like Hotjar, SessionCam, Decibel Insights, Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics to support with data. You’ll use tools like Adobe Target, Oracle Maxymiser, Google Optimise and Optimizely to configure and measure the results of AB and/or MV tests.

You will use your analytical skills to dig into the detail of test results and provide clients with the key insights of the test. You’ll be naturally curious about the way visitors behave on a website, be comfortable dealing with clients, providing expertise to help them answer some of the most challenging questions they have about their website’s behaviour.

The role will be based in London but may require travel to client sites around the UK. There is also an opportunity to work with clients based in Hong Kong and Europe. This role would suit someone with experience of working in a digital team client-side or agency-side and who has successfully used CRO tools to optimise the digital customer experience.

Skills and Knowledge

  • A sound understanding of Conversion Rate Optimisation techniques
  • Experience designing and analysing AB tests
  • Hands-on experience using popular CRO tools such as Adobe Target, Oracle Maxymiser, Optimizely, VWO and AB Tasty
  • An understanding of digital customer experience and how it can influence customer behaviour
  • A good understanding of web technology, with a desire to learn more and try new tools

Preferably, you should have:

  • A bachelor’s degree
  • An understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Sociability – be a generous and likeable team member
  • Curiosity – be energetic, positive, enthusiastic, with an enquiring mind
  • Creativity – ability to devise novel solutions to problems presented to you, both technical and design-orientated

Role Responsibilities:

  • Providing support for our clients’ digital optimisation strategy
  • Roadmap creation & user behaviour analysis
  • Test design and specification
  • Test development (WYSIWYG editors, HTML/CSS/JS)
  • Technical support for client’s dev teams where appropriate
  • Test analysis, reporting & reviewing the financial impact
  • Regular catch-ups with the clients
  • Communicating with the Tech and Insights teams 
  • Communicate new tagging requirements for upcoming tests, enabling the Tech team to implement them in preparation
  • Consolidate work produced by Insights team into actionable concepts for the optimisation
  • Bespoke CRO initiatives
  • Present the most appropriate solution based on a client’s requirements. This can include activities such as attribution modelling, implementation audits or email personalisation 
  • Use depth of knowledge to recommend optimisation activities outside of AB tests and personalisation
